Just as the crucifixion can be viewed as a metaphor for certain occasions we experience during the journeys of our lives, the sresurrection can be viewed the same way.

One of the aspects of UU-ism that is essential for me is that I don't have to choose between science, reason, story, imagination or religious truth and meaning. All of this is celebrated in our UU faith. Whether in science or poetry, all of life is open to knowing and loving.

Each of us who comes to this "faith of the larger liberty" cannot avoid certain paradoxes. Like the Unitarian-Universalist name itself, parts of our faith are very inclusive and others are very exclusive.
