Our History
In 1962 a group of friends began meeting in each others' homes to discuss religion and ethics and provide a Sunday School for their children. By 1965, the group had affiliated itself with the Unitarian Universalist Association, and called itself by its present name. This was a successor to the Universalist Church that had been in Macomb since the early years of this century.In 1979, the church moved to its present location on Wigwam Hollow Road. The building was expanded five years later to allow for a larger meeting room, and provide a permanent home for the Sunday School and a Minister's study.
We love our Fellowship: members have donated memorials, stained glass, the chalice weathervane, solar windows, and dedicated original musical compositions.
