Needleturn Applique
Make a 16 inch block
using a
Japanese Crest Design from my quilt
Monsho. Cut and needleturn
edges. Help with points, curves and smooth
edges, will be given to help make needleturn applique
much more
enjoyable.
Half day class
Phantasy
Applique
Using the techniques that were used in
my quilt Phantasy,
make a small block
consisting of stems, leaves, and a flower. Techniques
that we will be using are
hand applique, reverse applique and
embroidery.
Full day class

Hand Quilting
Learn to hand quilt. A lot of
tips that will make your hand
quilting
a lot easier.
Don't use any knots starting and stopping. Make a pillow or small
wallhanging.
Half day class

Machine Trapunto
Free motion machine quilting and water
soluble thread will add dimension
to your quilt. Learn to do this easy
machine technique and you will have a
small wall hanging. Some experience
with free-motion machine quilting is
preferred.

Machine Quilting
Make a small wall hanging using
sippling, feather designs, grids, etc.
Will talk about needles, threads,

Heirloom Machine Quilting.

I will show and talk about my quilts
and wallhangings. My insperations,
my designs
and color choices, and the funny and
bad things that happen in making
them.
