Celestial showers of stars. of amber and gold, with cloud formations
and wind currents. Drafted a broken star and used a collection of batik fabrics
 to make the star. The background is a batik also. Drew the feather designs
and my husband said it made him think of swirling clouds and wind currents
 with the stars in the sky.  Free motion machine quilted with a Bernina
machine, echo feathers,  echo quilting around the feathers, circles, sashiko, and stippling.
I used a Hobbs wool batting and YLI silk thread on front and back for the quilting.
Piping was added before the binding was applied.
