Albert, WC516, is currently our main stud. We own 2/3 of him in partnership with Jerry and Mary Sorenson (West Cyclone Polypays), who bred him. Albert sired their top selling ram at the 2006 Center of the Nation Sale and our second-high selling ram at the 2008 Center of the Nation Sale. We feel very fortunate to be able to purchase part of Albert. He has really changed the EPD values of our lambs. He currently ranks #3 in the breed for weaning weight, 4th for 120-day weight, 9th for milk, 4th for milk + growth, 10th for % lamb crop weaned adn 4th for pounds of lamb weaned. His EPD values are: Weaning Weight, +2.9 lb., 120-Day Weight, +7.0 lb., Maternal Milk,+ 1.6 lb., Milk and Growth, +3.0 lb., Percent Lamb Crop, +6.8%, % lamb crop weaned, +14.1 and pounds of lamb weaned, +8.4. From great mothers come great sons! Take a look at our new stud ram from the University of Wisconsin! He was the top selling ram over all breeds at the 2009 Illinois Ram test, the top indexing Polypay and top gaining Polypay at 1.19 pounds per day. His mother was this year's National champion Ewe at the National Polypay sale and his father was the NSIP champion ram at the 2007 National Sale, bred by Hidden Valley.
