Introduction

                 "REAL PATRIOTISM ISN'T CHEAP!"

Introduction:

This is intended to be a fast, simple directory of Made in USA products, so that Americans can directly support our economy at its backbone, MANUFACTURING, by knowing what is American-made to purchase ... if even sometimes at much higher prices.

DISCLAIMER:  The registering companies themselves are legally responsible for maintaining the accuracy of their listings, as to what is and is not of U.S. manufacture ... as stipulated in their Letter of Registration:  see below.

Bush and the Republicans think "outsourcing is good for the economy," and the Democrats only want to spend tax dollars on retraining programs for jobs which are already being "outsourced" too.

It is time we Americans took matters into our own hands.

The table will be organized by product.

Then the following information will be given:

Name, address, and other contact information for the company.

Whether or not the plant is locally or domestically owned.  (Foreign ownership, by good employers like Japan's NTN Bower here in Macomb, are deeply appreciated, but local ownership is also prized.

To what extent the materials used in the manufacturing is of local or U.S. origin.  (For example, most agricultural products will be of local origin, obviously.)

Letter of Registration.

Any company may register any product produced in the U.S. in this database.  The letter should contain the following factual information:

Description of product manufactured.

Standard Industrial Classification number (if known).

Name of company.

Mailing address of company.

Telephone and FAX numbers of company.

Webpage and e-mail addresses of company.

The following statement:

"I hereby certify that the above information is correct, and if there is any change in it -- including my own departure from the manufacturer -- I will immediately advise this Made in USA register owner, and I take full legal responsibility for doing so."

Printed name and position of respondent following signature.

Date signed.

(That is, a new registration should be submitted by a new individual respondent, if his/her predecessor leaves the company or responding position.)
